      A certain amount of rock sample and dilute salt should be placed in a standard reaction vessel with more carbonate content in the rock sample and the greater pressure,the carbonate content can be calculated by comparing the pressure of the pure calcium carbonate and the rock sample to the dilute hydrochloric acid respectively.
